Thursday will be our May Day for both HS and elementary, at different locations of course, starting at 9am. We are accepting volunteers to help out for elementary May Day. If you are able to help please let your child's teacher know. Any and all help is appreciated!
The kindergarten class will have their graduation in the cafeteria at 1:30pm on Monday, May 11th. We look forward to seeing everyone there as we celebrate the achievements of our youngest Pugs!
The elementary awards assembly tomorrow will start at 1:30 for preK – 2nd grade and 1:45 PM for 3rd–6th grade. This will take place at the gym. If you intend on checking out your student to take with you after the awards ceremony, please do so at the office before the awards assembly starts.

Today we are taking JH to the health fair in Purcell. We are leaving at 10am and returning at 12:30pm. This is wrapping up the semester long curriculum that they have been presenting us at school. We and the students have appreciated the services that the Health Corps has provided.
We will be hosting our elementary awards assembly in the gym at 1:30 Friday, May 8. Look forward to seeing everyone there!

This message is to inform our school community that the water main has been fixed and we will return to in-person school tomorrow. Students please make sure to have ready to turn in assignments when returning to school.

Due to a water main collapse affecting the school campus, we have been informed that repairs will disrupt school operations for the duration of the day. Consequently, school will be held virtually tomorrow. Please follow up with your standard remote learning procedures and/or teacher, and we will provide further updates regarding a return to in-person instruction as they become available.
Last JH Track meet of the season came home from Maysville Conference Meet with some medals. Lane Branscum finished 3rd place in the 100m Dash, and Brooklyn Reiser finished 3rd in the Mile Run.

Here is the Order of Events for the Conference meet at Maysville today. We will be leaving school after lunch. We anticipate being back by 6. Thank You and Go Pugs!
Testing for elementary students, including 7th and 8th graders, begins tomorrow. We ask for your help in ensuring that students are well-rested and prepared to do their best. Additionally, please ensure students arrive at school on time to avoid disrupting the testing process.
Tomorrow there is no school.
We have prom tomorrow evening with promenade starting at 6:30pm. Prom will be at the cafeteria and promenade will take place at the west side of the elementary. Thank you and we wish our students and staff a good and safe prom!

The FFA CDE contest at Seminole State tomorrow has been cancelled.
Tomorrow, April 9th there will not be PreK classes, Mrs Davis will be having PreK pre enrollment for next year.
Friday there will not be school for the District. Monday, April 13th, PreK classes will resume.
Pre enrollment packets went out today. Please fill out and return by Thursday, April 9th.

Just for clarification, there was a shooting in Pauls Valley, and at the time the assailant's whereabouts was not known which led to us going into lockdown for the safety of our students. We were notified by law-enforcement that that suspect has been apprehended and were given the all clear.
