Varsity Archery, HS, and JH Archery Tournaments and State Qualifying Rounds
Dec 5, Maysville Warrior Shootout in the HS Gym - JH - Kimmie Tran places 2nd in girls with a personal best score. Daniel Tran, Jax Goldsmith, and Nirvana Ashley also set personal best scores.
Dec 5, Centershot 3-D Tournament, Maysville Elementary Gym- JH TEAM PLACES 1ST, Kimmie Tran gets 1st in girls and Conner Wade gets 3rd in boys.
Dec 6, Lexington Reindeer Games - HS - Jimmy Mauldin led the team with a personal best score of 278. Jordan Watson, Chloe Pierri, Kadynce Garner, Charlie Rice, Moses Sumner, and Kei'Aundre Cook also had personal best scores.
Jan 17, The High School Archery Team placed 6th at the El Reno Archery Tournament. Jimmy Mauldin and Chase Sumner placed 9th and 10th in the HS Boys division. Chloe Pierri, Conner Wade, and Kei'Aundre Cook all set personal best scores.
Jan 30, Congratulations to Kimmie Tran for bringing home two 1st place finishes in the girls middle school division of the Centershot Bullseye and 3-D Archery tournaments at Choctaw. Daniel Tran placed 5th in the boys division of the 3-D tournament and Conner Wade placed 6th in the Bullseye tournament. Patrick Peterson also placed in the top ten of the 3-D tournament with a 9th place finish.
Feb 18, The HS archery team competed at the Varsity Archery Tier II State Tournament. This event was held at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds. Paoli placed 3rd as a team. In Varsity Archery, the archers shoot hunting style bows and shoot turkey targets from 15 meters. Phoenix Standerfer also received individual honors by placing 3rd in the girls division. Addison Finley placed 5th with Chloe Pierri in 8th. In the boys division, Chase Sumner was our highest scorer placing 6th.
Feb 25, Paoli High School Archery team participated in the Oklahoma's Grand State Archery Tournament in Tulsa. Only the top thirty teams from all classes across the whole state were invited to participate in this event. This was a bullseye style tournament shooting at targets at 10m and 15m. Paoli scored their highest team score of the season and placed 19th.
