Just an update we have been given the all clear after we were all in the storm shelter. High school is in the cafeteria and the elementary students are at the elementary building. Power is out and you are able to come check out your student as needed.

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5, there will be no school for students. That is a staff professional day. We will be back in school on Wednesday.

With the recent tragedy, the school will be providing counselors and local pastors available for any student or staff member that may need them. We are asking that 7th through 12th grade students and high school staff to go straight to the high school upon arrival. Counselors will be made available to elementary students and staff as needed. After the first bell, 7th through 12th grade will go to the cafeteria for breakfast and meet with counselors as needed. There will be other locations on campus where students can meet with counselors that will be discussed when at the cafeteria. Any parent that wishes to keep their child/children home for the day, please call the office to notify us of your plan. Our hearts and prayers go out to all who have been affected by this; words can not describe the emotions and loss that we all share.

This is homecoming week, and the parade will be this Friday starting at 2 PM. Floats will lineup at 1:30 at high school parking lot. If you have an elementary student that is riding, for example, a little league float or some other transportation in the parade we have a form that is being sent home to fill out.

HS students are hard at work in their homecoming parade floats.

For homecoming we will start the ceremony at 6pm to crown a queen and the game will start 7pm versus Midway. Please come out and support the Pugs on to victory!

Just a reminder of our school blood drive going on tomorrow from 10:30am to 2:45pm. Please come out to help us meet our goal! The mobile donation truck will be located at the high school parking lot.
